Information we use
Account details include your name, email, authentication records and preferences. Marketplace records include purchases, downloaded documents, credits, saved items and support messages.
Contributors also provide profile information, resource files and publishing declarations. Payment processing and payout verification are handled by Stripe; Complyzard does not store full payment card details.
Document popularity uses totals from existing downloads and bookmarks. View counts record a document, a time and a random event identifier for up to 30 days, without adding an account identifier, IP address or browser fingerprint to the view record.
AI assistant connections
When you connect an AI assistant to Complyzard, we process the search words, selected filters and document references sent by that assistant to return public catalogue results. Results include public document details and author attribution. The connection does not access your account, private uploads, payment information or protected original files.
We use a hashed network identifier and short-lived rate-limit records to prevent automated abuse. Tool diagnostics record the tool name, duration and error type without recording search text, request contents or account identifiers. Browser analytics record the tool name, outcome and result count without search text; connection analytics record the selected assistant and copy outcome.
Your assistant provider processes conversations and tool results under its own privacy terms. You can stop sharing new requests by disabling or removing the Complyzard connection in that assistant.
Why we use it
We use account and transaction information to provide access, process purchases, maintain your library, moderate published resources and answer support requests. Security logs help detect abuse and protect accounts.
Your author profile and document listing become public when you publish. Complete files remain in private storage; previews and authorised downloads are available through Complyzard.
Service providers
The platform uses Vercel for hosting and private file storage, Neon for its database, Better Auth for authentication software, Cloudflare Turnstile for security checks, Stripe for payments and payouts, and Resend for transactional email.
We use request and device information to protect accounts and prevent automated abuse. File security checks help protect the document library.
These providers process information needed to deliver their services. We do not sell account information.
Retention and your choices
You can update profile information in your account and contact us to request access, correction, export or deletion of your personal information. Some transaction or security records may need to be retained for applicable obligations.
Optional marketing messages require a separate choice. Account verification, trial reminders, billing notices and important document updates are service messages.

Use the contact page for a privacy question or rights request. Avoid including sensitive documents in your initial message.
